This email list is the best way for a member to keep track of what's going on with the Pacific Green Party of Oregon. It is low-traffic (typically only urgent or important notices and a weekly internal party e-newsletter) so it won't flood your inbox. Only the Internal Communications Committee is authorized to send messages to this list. All post to this list will be moderated, and if they are appropriate, they may be approved without further ado. However, submitters are encouraged to send to Internal Communications Committee directly (see below for address) to have their posts incorporated into the weekly newsletter. If you would like to receive the party press releases intended for the general media and public consumption, consider subscribing to Pacific Green Party of Oregon's press release email list. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the pgp-announce archives. Please note that official press releases only occur through March of 2007. From April of 2007, official press releases will be found at the Pacific Green Party's press release archive.
Using pgp-announce
Only the Internal Newsletter Editors may post on the Announce list. If you have an item you wish to include in the Newsletter, please send an email with this intention noted in the subject to the communications list and your submission will be incorporated into the regular internal newsletter. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to pgp-announce
Subscribe to pgp-announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
